Job Description
Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with 16-hour shifts from 3:00 PM–7:00 AM also available.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
On-Call: None.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a temporary assignment at a long-term care facility in Claremont, New Hampshire. The nurse will provide resident care, administer medications and treatments, supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), and maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments and follow physician orders.
  • Provide wound care, oxygen therapy, and enteral feeding support.
  • Supervise LNAs and monitor resident care and documentation.
  • Maintain infection control, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and physician rounds.
  • Communicate care updates and complete shift handoff reports.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active New Hampshire LPN license or active compact multistate LPN license at submission.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • IV certification or willingness to obtain it during onboarding.
  • At least 3 years of recent LPN experience, including active nursing experience within the past 6 months.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination; exemptions and declinations are not accepted.
  • Willingness to float to other long-term care units as needed.
