About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Ashtabula, Ohio. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients. Your expertise will help to improve lung function, alleviate symptoms, and enhance overall patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans to meet individual needs

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, medication administration, and aerosol therapy

• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

• 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

• Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)

• Ohio State Respiratory Care Board certification

• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)

Competitive hourly rate: $38 - $40 hourly
