Plant Manager
Our client is seeking a Plant Manager to lead production and warehouse operations at its Raleigh facility. This leader will strengthen quality, reliability, accountability, and team performance across the plant allowing for growth.
The ideal candidate is a visible, hands-on leader who anticipates problems, builds high-performing teams, and brings structure and a continuous improvement mindset to the entire operation—from warehouse through delivery.
Location: Onsite in Raleigh, NC
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Plant Operations: Lead production and warehouse operations by aligning schedules, staffing, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
- Quality and Inventory Systems: Establish reliable production, inventory, and quality processes. Use KPIs to identify issues early and reinforce accountability.
- Team Leadership: Lead through the Production Manager and Warehouse Manager, building a collaborative leadership team that consistently enforces standards across all shifts.
- Continuous Improvement: Integrate Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar practices into daily operations. Partner with the Quality Manager to translate improvement plans into consistent execution on the floor.
- Partnership and Reporting: Advise the CEO on priorities, staffing, and capital needs, and provide clear, timely reporting on plant performance.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
- At least 4 years of experience leading teams of 30 or more employees, including oversight of 50 or more employees across multiple functions.
- Working knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and inventory management.
- Sound judgment under pressure and a demonstrated record of delivering results.
- A hands-on leadership style and comfort working on the plant floor.
- Clear, effective communication with production teams, technicians, and executives.
- A practical, continuous improvement mindset.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or ERP systems; Acumatica experience is a plus.
- Experience in CNC, sheet metal, furniture, nonwovens, or textiles.
- A record of successfully scaling or transforming organizations.
