LPN - Part Time

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and skilled LPNs to join our team here at Calvin Community for our 10 p.m.–6 a.m. shift. The LPN will assess residents' health needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assess residents' health needs and develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document residents' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
• Communicate with residents and families to provide education and support
• Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nursing
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a nurse; geriatric experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
