Weekend LPN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and compassionate Weekend LPN to join our dedicated team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing, a leader in post-acute care and rehabilitation services. As a Weekend LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, weekend after weekend.
About the Role:
As a Weekend LPN, you will work within our 5-story, state-of-the-art facility, featuring an all-new TCU Unit with telemetry care and a dedicated subacute floor with mostly private suites. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leading area physicians to provide the most cutting-edge post-acute care and rehabilitation services to individuals facing cardiac, orthopedic, renal, or pulmonary issues.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and conducting vital signs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor and document resident progress, reporting changes and concerns to the Team Leader or Charge Nurse
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Participate in quality improvement activities to continually improve care delivery
Requirements:
Current LPN/LVN license in the state of New Jersey
Ability to work a weekend schedule, rotating shifts and on-call as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Basic life support (BLS) certification
