LPN Job Responsibilities – Day Shift

As a Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, support resident health and safety, and work closely with the nursing team to deliver quality care in our skilled nursing and memory care community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and within the scope of your LPN license

• Monitoring residents' conditions and reporting changes to the appropriate healthcare providers

• Performing nursing assessments and documenting resident care according to facility policies and applicable regulations

• Assisting with the coordination and implementation of resident care plans

• Communicating with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, residents, and families as appropriate

• Supervising and supporting CNA staff as assigned

• Responding to resident needs and ensuring timely follow-up

• Promoting resident dignity, safety, comfort, and independence

• Maintaining accurate medical records and following infection control and safety procedures

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes

LPN Qualifications

We're looking for caring, reliable nurses who are committed to providing excellent resident care.

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri

• Current BLS/CPR certification, if required by facility policy

• Long-term care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or memory care experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals

• Compassionate approach to senior care and resident interactions
