Travel RN – Orthopedic / Medical Surgical (Nights)

Oklahoma City, OK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend rotation | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic and spine specialty unit within a medical surgical setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic and spine patients across assigned shifts
• Document patient information and care plans accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma State RN Licensure required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience on a medical surgical unit with orthopedic and/or spine specialty
• Ability to work night shifts including every other weekend rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic and spine patient populations in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced inpatient setting
