Room Attendant

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented hospitality professional to help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout guest rooms and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
• Change linens, make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum floors, and restock guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and ensure rooms are refreshed and guest-ready.
• Report maintenance issues, missing items, or damage to the appropriate team members.
• Respond to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain carts, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping storage areas in an organized condition.
• Follow all property procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.
• Support other housekeeping duties as assigned to help ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional, courteous communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks consistently.
• Basic understanding of cleaning products and safe cleaning practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to move cleaning carts and carry supplies as needed.
• Capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks in guest rooms and common areas.
