About the Role:
Hyatt Place St. Paul is looking for an energetic and hospitality-driven Front Desk Supervisor to lead our guest services team in the heart of Saint Paul, MN. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support front desk agents to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and care
- Train, coach, and motivate front desk staff to uphold Hyatt brand standards
- Manage room assignments, reservations, and occupancy to maximize hotel revenue
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate front desk records
Requirements:
- Previous hotel front desk or guest services experience required; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS); Opera or similar preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business degree a plus
