Automotive Technician Mechanic - Rotational

We are currently seeking ​a ROTATIONAL - Automotive Technician Mechanic to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.

- We will pay for your airfare to and from Barrow, and we will also provide you housing. This is a four weeks on, two weeks off role.

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per flat rate hour (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles, including routine maintenance and major overhauls.
• Perform vehicle tune-ups and inspections to ensure proper functionality.
• Test new vehicles for adjustments and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Conduct minor and major repairs on electrical systems, drivetrain, suspension, engines, heating, hydraulics, and other components.
• Troubleshoot drivability issues and implement necessary repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and a variety of hand, air, and electrical tools effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work area.
• Promote and adhere to safe work practices at all times.
• Continuously expand knowledge and skills relevant to the job.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or similar role.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
