Sr. Growth Engineer

The Opportunity

Join a fast-growing, venture-backed AI infrastructure company building developer tools that transform web content into structured, LLM-ready data. This hands-on growth engineering position combines full-stack product development with experimentation and measurable product-led growth (PLG). You will own improvements across signup, onboarding, activation, conversion, and expansion, working closely with technical leadership in a small, autonomous team.

What You’ll Do

·        Build and optimize developer signup, onboarding, activation, conversion, and upgrade experiences.

·        Own growth features end to end: identify opportunities, scope solutions, build, deploy, and measure outcomes.

·        Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and product-growth experiments.

·        Develop production full-stack experiences using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.

·        Use product analytics, funnel data, event tracking, and developer feedback to identify friction and improve adoption.

·        Build internal tooling to accelerate product and growth initiatives.

·        Use AI coding tools to improve development speed and workflows; collaborate directly with leadership on growth priorities.

Required Qualifications

·        Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.

·        Proven experience independently building, shipping, and maintaining full-stack production applications.

·        Direct ownership of shipped product-led growth features with measurable improvements in activation, conversion, onboarding, or other key metrics.

·        Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests and using experiment results to guide decisions.

·        Experience building developer-facing products, APIs, SDKs, or technical SaaS applications.

·        Strong product judgment and ability to independently scope and deliver work without detailed specifications or a dedicated product manager.

·        Regular use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.

·        Ability to work on a hybrid basis in the San Francisco Bay Area.

·        Stable work history required – no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years.

Preferred Experience

·        Approximately 5–12 years of full-stack engineering experience.

·        Early-stage or growth-stage startup experience, especially in developer tools, infrastructure, or product-led SaaS.

·        Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Vercel, and SQL.

·        Product analytics platforms such as PostHog, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.

·        Experience building applications with LLMs or Anthropic APIs.

Compensation & Benefits

·        Base salary: $230,000–$275,000 plus competitive equity.
