Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) provides comprehensive psychiatric care for adults, children and adolescents, and pregnant and postpartum patients in outpatient clinic, telepsychiatry, and hybrid settings. This role integrates psychotherapy and medication management while addressing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, and perinatal mental health conditions through collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide medication management and psychopharmacological care.
• Deliver integrated psychotherapy and medication management.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and care plans.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner—Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Expertise in psychiatric assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology.
• Strong clinical documentation skills.
