Nurse Practitioner

Vitality Health Solutions is a growing, independently owned primary care practice seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

This is a 30-hour-per-week position with the opportunity to transition to full-time as your patient panel grows. We are looking for a provider who values patient-centered care, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and is comfortable practicing with a high level of autonomy.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform routine physicals, preventive visits, and follow-up care
• Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, and other common primary care conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Provide preventive health counseling and appropriate screenings
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with patients and participate in continuity of care
• Practice evidence-based medicine while providing compassionate, individualized care

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license
• National board certification as an FNP
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable managing both acute and chronic primary care conditions
• Primary care experience preferred; however, qualified candidates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Position Details

• 30 hours per week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30am-5:30pm
• $65/hour
• Opportunity to transition to full-time as patient panel grows
• Outpatient primary care setting
• Located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico
