About the Role:
ALWAYSNEAR HOME CARE LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric CNA Caregiver to join our growing team in McDonough, GA! In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families by delivering high-quality, personalized in-home care. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct personal care to pediatric patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by supervising clinical staff
- Support developmental activities and engage children in age-appropriate interactions
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing home care environment
Requirements:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia
- Prior experience in pediatric care, home health, or a related caregiving setting preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of child development and pediatric patient needs
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the McDonough, GA area
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
