Key Qualifications:

• Current NY state RN license
• Experience in school or pediatric nursing is a plus
• Ability to adapt to multiple sites and handle a diverse elementary and middle school population
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and health services to students
• Support and collaborate with school nurses, offering coverage across the district as needed
• Respond to health emergencies and manage chronic and acute conditions in the school setting
• Promote health education and disease prevention initiatives
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district protocols
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff to foster a safe and supportive learning environment
• Serve as a resource on school health matters for school personnel
