School Occupational Therapist | Rohnert Park, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School-based Occupational Therapist through teletherapy and onsite services. This position offers a blend of direct and consultative OT work for primarily secondary-aged students (middle school, high school, and transition/18-22 years old). The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year, providing stability and valuable experience.

What you'll need:

• Current Occupational Therapy license in California
• Experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
• Ability to conduct assessments and provide direct OT interventions
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Organization to manage a caseload of 39 direct students and 37 consult-only cases, plus a handful of assessments

Your responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services directly to students and in consult with educational staff
• Deliver therapy sessions via teletherapy and in-person formats
• Conduct, document, and interpret student assessments
• Collaborate with IEP teams to create and implement individualized plans
• Offer expert recommendations and strategies for student success in secondary school and transition settings
• Coordinate therapy goals with educators, families, and related service providers

This position ensures a full-time schedule (five days a week, 40 hours weekly) and access to a strong, supportive interdisciplinary team.
