Pediatric School Registered Nurse | Sanford, Florida

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license and clear background screening
• Prior experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing
• Confidence managing individualized care, including 1:1 assignments with students
• Experience in triage and school health procedures (medication administration, care plans, emergency response)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to working with elementary and middle school age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide substitute coverage for school nurses in both elementary and middle schools
• Deliver individualized care for students with specific health needs
• Support general health clinics, administering first aid and daily medications
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and follow care protocols
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Contribute to an inclusive, healthy school environment
