Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to manage and operate BTB machinery with Siemens controls. The successful candidate will ensure efficient operation to meet daily production quotas and maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up BTB machinery with Siemens controls.
• Run the machine for 80 to 90% of the day to meet production quotas.
• Conduct quality checks approximately once per hour, depending on the product.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Document daily production at the end of each shift to assist the next machine operator.
• Install and adjust tools necessary for daily machine preparation.
• Perform between 1 and 3 set-ups per shift.
• Interpret and work from blueprints.
• Set cutting speeds and feed rates for machines.
• Cut and grind tools as needed.
• Load the machine with raw materials.
• Lift up to 50+ pounds a few times per day.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC operating experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
