1st Shift Assembly Technician

Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Will be traveling 2 weeks out of the month after 9 months of training

Pay: $55,000+ depending on experience

Job Description

The Shift Assembly Technician performs mechanical and electrical assembly and sub-assembly work on industrial machinery, both in the facility and at customer sites. This role involves assembling, repairing, and preparing equipment according to engineering drawings and standards, using a variety of tools and material handling equipment. It is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and established standards.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks on industrial machinery and sub-assemblies.
• Repair, build, and prepare industrial equipment at the facility and at customer locations.
• Work from warranty and repair orders and production schedules to plan and prioritize tasks.
• Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively to complete assembly and repair work.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 13 years of related mechanical and/or electrical assembly work experience desired.
• Moderate knowledge of general manufacturing processes.
• Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Specialized associates degree in a related technical field is a plus.
• Experience with both electrical and mechanical assemblies is beneficial.
• Interest in long-term career growth in industrial equipment assembly and service.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leetsdale, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leetsdale, PA.

This position is anticipated to close on Nov 2, 2026.
