Position Summary

Quality Response Medical Staffing (QRMS) is seeking a dependable, experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support patient care in a busy Cardiology clinic.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This position includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient patient care and daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Document medical histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification required.
• Minimum one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience required.
• Previous experience in a physician's office or Cardiology clinic preferred.

Health and Immunization Requirements

Selected candidates must provide the following documentation:

• TB Screening: QuantiFERON-TB Gold (QTB) test or two-step TB skin test completed within the last 90 days.
• MMR: Documentation of two doses.
• Tdap:
• Varicella:
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination series documentation or signed declination, if permitted.

Employment and Credentialing Requirements

Candidates selected for placement must complete the required onboarding and credentialing process, including:

• Three (3) completed professional or organizational references, including the required reference questionnaires.
• Signed agency job description.
• Primary-source verification of applicable certifications and licenses.
• Education verification through an official transcript, National Student Clearinghouse, or Parchment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist patients with mobility as needed.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with clinical duties.

Compensation

$20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
