Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking an Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic to diagnose and repair pickup trucks, light-duty trucks, SUVs, and fleet vehicles. The role focuses on pickup engines, transmissions, electronics, and other vehicle systems, with assignments coordinated through a service manager. Technicians will use OEM diagnostic systems, multibrand scan tools, standard shop equipment, and technician-provided tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using OEM diagnostic systems and multibrand scan tools.
• Repair and service engines, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
• Complete brake, suspension, and preventive maintenance services.
• Inspect parts and identify repair or replacement needs.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and completed services.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and service standards.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics and OBD-II scanning.
• Proficiency in engine and transmission repair.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and brake systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
