About this job

Job Description

Job Description

Pay: $90,000–$130,000/yr (base + gross-profit commission - your upside is tied to what you build, and we will show you the model with real numbers before you accept anything.)

This is a growth seat, not a caretaker seat. If you want to keep a working store warm, this isn’t your job, and you won’t enjoy working with me.

The opportunity: Our Cumming store does $140k/month with a strong technician team. The cars are already coming in. The gap is conversion and execution, not car count. Your mandate: take it past $220k/month and hold it there. (Internal title: Store Manager.)

The playbook is built. Tekmetric, digital inspections, phone and sales standards, documented SOPs. Those are the guardrails, and they don’t move. Inside them, the speed, the intensity, and the results are yours. We’re not looking for someone to redesign the system. We’re looking for someone who runs it harder and faster than anyone has.

You’ll own:

  • The P&L drivers. GP dollars and percent, ELR, production hours, car count, conversion rate, close ratio. Reported weekly. You’ll know them cold.
  • Your team. Hire, develop, and when necessary, replace advisors and technicians. Growth comes through people you build, not hours you grind.
  • The daily calls inside the playbook. Schedule, staffing, coaching, execution, who sits where. You answer to results.

What it’s like: Fast, high-volume, and priorities shift. I move fast, push hard, and expect you to push back with data. If pressure and a changing day drain you, this job will too.

You are:

  • Someone who has grown a store or department and can name the numbers: where it was, where you took it, how long it took, and the two or three mechanisms that did it. You’ll be asked on the first call. “I ran a big store” is not an answer.
  • From a national chain? Tell us what you changed that corporate didn’t hand you.
  • A standards-holder who corrects drift the same day and builds value instead of discounting.
  • Comfortable being measured on two things: behaviors and numbers.

Experience: Automotive service management with demonstrated store growth (required). Independent shop or dealership service-drive backgrounds welcome. Trajectory matters more than years.
Process: Short phone screen, a work-style assessment (under 15 minutes), one in-depth interview, reference calls, then a comp model built on this store’s real numbers.

If you don’t reply to our follow-up message, we can’t move you forward.
