Childcare Assistant — Job Description
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Childcare Assistant to join our team! This position supports our teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
Responsibilities:
● Assist teachers with daily routines, learning activities, crafts, and indoor and outdoor play.
● Actively supervise children and help maintain a safe environment.
● Assist with diapering, potty training, handwashing, meals, and nap routines.
● Encourage positive behavior, kindness, and age-appropriate independence.
● Clean and sanitize toys, tables, diapering areas, and classroom materials.
● Keep classrooms, supplies, and common areas clean and organized.
● Communicate respectfully with children, families, and coworkers.
● Follow center policies and safety procedures, and promptly report concerns to the lead teacher or director.
● Be flexible and willing to assist in different classrooms and age groups as needed.
$16.00hr-$17.00hr
$500 sign in bonus with requirements
