Warehouse Representative

 

The Warehouse Representative is responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders as well as inventory control. Must communicate with shipping and freight vendors to ensure successful completion of outgoing shipments as well as receipt of goods.

Responsibilities and Role:

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness when processing orders using our ERP system.

· Verify and maintain records of outgoing and incoming shipments

· Pick and stage orders precisely using worksheets

· Prepare items for shipment including appropriate and sufficient packaging to ensure safe transport in boxes or on pallets

· Utilize worksheets to determine proper method of shipment

· Responsible for Placement of shipping labels

· Capture ETA and tracking information

· Responsible for safely operating Forklift during loading and offloading of transporting vehicles as well as material moving in warehouse

· Inspect incoming shipments in order to reject damaged items, record shortages and reconcile received items against Purchase Orders

· Receive goods in ERP system and check for open Sales Orders

· Unpack shipments received and stock shelves

· Assist with inventory management

· Order deliveries to various customers’ location

· Other duties as assigned
