Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, goal-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator (TC) with excellent sales and relationship-building skills. As the face of our practice during the consultation phase, you will bridge the gap between clinical recommendations and a patient's financial commitment.
Your primary metric for success will be the practice's case conversion rate. This is a consultative sales position; your job is to convey the value of a confident smile, handle financial objections with empathy, and guide families to say "yes" to treatment without relying on high-pressure tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Case Conversions: Guide prospective patients and parents through the consultation process, turning initial exams into scheduled "treatment starts".
- Present Treatment Plans: Confidently and enthusiastically explain the recommended treatment plans, timelines, and expected outcomes using simple, accessible language.
- Financial & Insurance Arrangements: Present customized payment options, discuss financing plans, and review insurance benefits with families.
- Overcome Objections: Use strong consultative sales skills to navigate patient hesitation regarding cost, time, or anxiety. Deliver compassionate solutions to common objections like "I need to think about it".
- Pipeline Management & Follow-Up: Actively track and follow up with a pipeline of pending or undecided patients via phone, text, and email to answer lingering questions and encourage commitment.
- Track Growth Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including case acceptance rates, pending starts, and production targets, and report insights to leadership.
