Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 4PM - 1230 AM

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients across all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, alcohol testing, and other specialized laboratory tests.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient and specimen information.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by each test order.
• Verify all test requisitions or computer-generated labels against the script or order to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Store specimens at the required temperature and place samples in the appropriate collection containers or tubes.
• Accurately label specimens and follow specific protocols for handling and transport to maintain specimen integrity.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of phlebotomist experience REQUIRED
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture and capillary blood collection.

This is a Permanent position based out of Spring Valley, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
