Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and ethical standards
• Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Compound specialized medications as needed
• Provide drug information and consult with healthcare professionals on medication therapy
• Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage
• Maintain patient profiles and medication records
• Participate in drug utilization reviews and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification
• Valid state Pharmacist license
