About the Role:
Fin & Crab is looking for an energetic and experienced Restaurant Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team in the heart of Charleston, SC. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience
- Supervise, coach, and motivate floor staff including servers, hosts, and bussers
- Manage table flow, reservations, and seating to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams during service
- Monitor staff performance and conduct pre-shift meetings and training
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and opening/closing procedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced service with composure
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic restaurant operations
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A guest-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality
