Field Restoration Specialist II – Synthetic Turf
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands-on Field Restoration Specialist II to help restore residential properties after underground fiber construction. When construction crews install underground fiber, lawns and artificial turf may need to be lifted, cut, or disturbed. Your job will be to restore these areas to their original condition, leaving each property clean, safe, and looking its best.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in synthetic turf installation, repair, landscaping, or restoration who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Pay Rate: $23-$25/hour

What You’ll Do
- Lift, protect, and reinstall synthetic turf around underground construction areas.
- Repair seams, edges, cuts, and separations to achieve a clean, natural-looking finish.
- Restore landscaping and surrounding areas, including sod, irrigation, gravel, mulch, pavers, and other hardscape features.
- Perform pressure washing and remove construction markings from sidewalks, driveways, and other surfaces.
- Coordinate with construction crews to prioritize restoration work and manage daily service routes.
- Document completed work with photos and work order updates.
- Identify damage requiring specialized repairs and communicate issues to management.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of hands-on synthetic turf installation or repair experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in landscaping, pressure washing, construction cleanup, hardscape work, or a related field.
- Experience restoring turf or landscaping after excavation, utility, irrigation, or underground construction projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage daily assignments, and deliver high-quality results.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid California driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability for occasional overtime and weekend work.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience supporting utility, telecom, or fiber construction projects.
- Irrigation repair, sod replacement, and general landscape restoration skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
