Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - Mobile Wound Care

LOCATION: Elizabeth City, NC
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: 5 days/week; approximately 6 patients/day
SETTING: Mobile/field-based; local travel required
POPULATION: Medically complex adults

SUMMARY

Provide specialized wound care to patients in their homes and post-acute care settings, with clinical autonomy and physician collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and manage acute, chronic, and complex wounds.

• Develop individualized wound care treatment plans.

• Perform wound procedures, including debridement when credentialed.

• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and vascular studies.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.

• Educate patients and caregivers.

• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.

• Travel locally throughout the workday.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current unrestricted NC NP or PA license and board certification.

• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.

• 2+ years clinical experience.

• Wound care experience strongly required.

• Strong clinical judgment and independent practice skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
