Job Description
We are working with a growing company (professional sports/e-commerce) that is looking to add a Senior Accountant. The company is located in Dallas and is going through tons of growth - Company is targeting $100 million in revenue this year and $125 million next year. They currently have just over 100 employees and are owned by a very successful Dallas based investment group. This position pays 90K-95K and offers a Hybrid work set up.
Key Responsibilities include:
Revenue Recognition Analysis: Assist in compliance with ASC 606 by preparing revenue recognition entries monthly
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to management on financial performance, trends, and variances.
Financial Systems: Utilize accounting software and ERP systems effectively. Stay updated with advancements in financial technology.
Financial Projects: Participate in special financial projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, or process improvements.
General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger and supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Key Qualifications
CPA is a plus
Public Accounting experience is a plus but not required
3+ years of experience
