MasTec Advanced Technologies is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Field Service Technicians serving residential customers throughout Cleveland, OH and surrounding communities.

Whether you're beginning a new career journey or bringing previous hands-on experience, this role offers paid training, professional development, and the opportunity to work with a leading telecommunications services provider.

Training & Compensation

• Training Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Training Location: Akron, OH
• Pay During Training: $18.00 per hour
• After Training: Compensation transitions to a performance-based piece-rate pay structure with strong earning potential
  

What You'll Be Doing

• Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle
• Install satellite TV and home technology equipment
• Troubleshoot technical and connectivity issues
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment functionality
• Complete installations while meeting safety and quality expectations
• Document completed jobs and service activity accurately

Keys to Success

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to regularly lift 60-80 pounds
• Comfortable working on ladders up to 36 feet
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Availability to work weekends as needed
• Ability to attend training beginning November 9, 2026, in Akron, OH
  

Work Environment

• Daily travel throughout the Cleveland service area
• Combination of indoor and outdoor installation work
• Frequent use of ladders, hand tools, and technical equipment
• Independent work with regular customer interaction
• Exposure to changing weather conditions and various residential job-site environments
