We are looking for a dependable and motivated Shift Lead to support daily store operations, lead team members, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members and ensure smooth operations during assigned shifts.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve routine customer concerns.
• Train and support employees in food preparation, customer service, and store procedures.
• Prepare ice cream creations, milkshakes, waffle cones, and ice cream cakes as needed.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and product quality standards.
• Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and minimize waste.
• Follow cash-handling procedures and report operational concerns to the Store Manager.
• Lead by example, promote teamwork, and ensure employees follow store policies.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform all store duties, including serving customers, cleaning, and restocking.
• Food safety certification preferred or required as applicable.

Work Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week.
• Hourly, non-salaried position; overtime paid as required by law.
• Flexible availability for opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to approximately 30–40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
