Job Description
Radiation Oncology Department Manager – Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the administrative, clinical, operational, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance functions of a Radiation Oncology department. Manages staffing, resource utilization, performance issues, and daily clinical operations while ensuring accreditation standards, patient safety, customer service, and effective physician and staff relationships.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of Radiation Therapy experience required.
- Management and supervisory experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration required; master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, sound professional judgment, excellent communication, customer service, and physician relations skills.
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
- Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment.
- Candidates must be available to work at least two of the designated holiday periods if scheduled or needed. Schedule accommodations, including block scheduling, are not accepted.
- Candidates must provide a reachable phone number and have voicemail set up.
- Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable.
