Occupational Therapist (OT) Position Available at Maple City Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at Maple City Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hornell, New York. About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with Maple City Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will play a critical role in evaluating and developing treatment plans for our residents. You will implement these plans to improve our residents' functional independence, assess and document their progress, and maintain confidentiality. You will also assume clinical supervision of occupational therapy assistants and participate in care plan meetings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for residents based on medical diagnosis

• Implement treatment plans to improve residents' goals toward their functional independence

• Assess and document the progress of residents in detailed recertifications, progress reports, and daily notes

• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing

• Maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records

• Assume clinical supervision of occupational therapy assistants

• Participate in care plan meetings and documentation

• Plan, develop, and organize OT-related reports and data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director

• Assist in departmental projects as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

• Current New York State OT License

• Experience is a plus
