Job Description
About the Role

Join a robotics AI team building perception systems that help robots understand and navigate physical environments. You will take computer vision models from research through deployment and help shape the perception architecture and roadmap.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and optimize models for depth estimation, object detection, segmentation, tracking, and 3D scene understanding using RGB-D, LiDAR, and stereo data.
  • Build scalable data processing, training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines for real-time robotic systems.
  • Design annotation strategies and tools for automated labeling, quality assurance, dataset curation, augmentation, and versioning.
  • Implement monitoring and reliability frameworks, including uncertainty estimation, failure detection, and automated performance reporting.
  • Test new perception techniques and work with robotics, systems, and simulation teams to bring successful approaches into production.
What We're Looking For
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in computer vision, with vision as a core responsibility in recent roles.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field; 3D perception research or thesis work is a plus.
  • Hands-on 3D vision experience in areas such as depth estimation, 3D scene understanding, detection, segmentation, or tracking.
  • Experience training and deploying vision models and owning their performance in production, preferably on robotic or other hardware systems.
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects across hardware and software teams, ideally at a robotics, autonomous vehicle, AR/VR, or IoT startup.
  • Knowledge of 3D geometry and sensor processing or multi-sensor fusion, with experience using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ is a plus. Experience with annotation tools, dataset curation, versioning, or augmentation pipelines is also valuable.
