Warehouse Cleaner

The Warehouse Associate is a full-time position responsible for receiving, counting, loading, unloading, and staging bakery products according to daily shipping schedules. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and shipped while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and warehouse organization.

Warehouse Associates work in a fast-paced distribution environment and are expected to safely handle products, meet shipping deadlines, maintain accurate inventory records, and comply with all company safety and operating procedures.

Schedule:
Warehouse Associates typically work 8–10-hour shifts. Days off will be determined by management based on business and operational needs. Schedules may vary based on production volume, customer demand, and holiday schedules.
*This position requires employees to work most holidays, as well as overtime and schedule adjustments as needed to meet business demands.

Pay:
10.00 – 11.00 /hour
Employees are paid weekly.
Employees may be eligible for annual cost-of-living wage increases, as approved by the Company.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
Receive, verify, and accurately record products from production facilities and other distribution centers.
Count, stage, load, and unload products according to daily shipping schedules.
Ensure products are transported to the appropriate warehouse or distribution area.
Verify product quantities and report discrepancies to management.
Assist in preparing outgoing shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Move, organize, and stack product throughout the warehouse.
Maintain accurate inventory and product rotation practices.
Assist with warehouse organization to promote efficient workflow.
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Immediately report damaged product, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions.
Comply with all Company policies, safety rules, attendance requirements, and operating procedures.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math and counting skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to move loaded hand trucks weighing up to 400 pounds.
Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures (approximately 30°ree;F to 120°ree;F, depending on work area).
Ability to distinguish labels, color-coded products, and shipping information.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

May be required to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules based on business needs.
