Floor Tech - Full Time - Richmond and Surrounding Area

Floor Tech Job Details:

Then we want to talk to you. We're looking for a Floor Technician with attention to detail who likes taking a project from unfinished to spotless.

We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and caring experienced Floor Technicians to provide Floor Care and Project services for our clients in the Richmond area.

• Location: Richmond, VA
• Pay: $18 – $22/hr, scaled based on experience
• Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM, with overtime available and some weekend work

Responsibilities:

• Strip, refinish, buff and burnish hard surface floors.
• Machine scrub tile and grout floors.
• Clean carpets using extraction, low moisture encapsulation and roto/bonnet techniques.
• Treat and restore various types of stone floors.
• Clean upholstered furniture and cubicle panels.
• Other specialty cleaning projects.
• When necessary, perform cleaning tasks which can include trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning.
• Follow all company and client rules, policies and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional floor care experience.
• Experience will be verified during the interview. If we can't verbally confirm your experience, you'll be asked to complete an equipment and process competency test.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum Age: 18+ years old
• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing member of a team.
• Strong work ethic and do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
• Physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform all tasks which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching and lifting.
