Collections Account Manager

• Contract to Hire
• Location: On-site in Newark, DE
• Training:
• • Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM
• Schedule:
• • Days, 8am-5pm
  • Nights (at least 2 per week), 12-9pm
  • Saturdays (up to every other), 8am-12pm
• Compensation: $18/hour (+ eligible for bonuses upon perm hire)

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with clients and collectors on debt accounts
• Arrange suitable payment plans once contact with debtor has been made and follow up on payments
• Manage all accounts until paid, settled, cured from delinquency or deemed uncollectible by management
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of account activity
• Achieve departmental goals through ongoing efforts to contact clients and collect on accounts
• Perform all phases of skip tracing work
• Adhere to and abide by regulations

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service, telemarketing, or collections; agency or bank recovery preferred
• Ability to work well independently and under pressure to meet/exceed company deadlines
• Goal-oriented with strong written/oral communication and organizational skills
• Punctual and reliable; Must be available for entire training program
• Knowledge of FDCPA or credit bureau reports, a plus
