Construction Estimator

We are an established residential homebuilding company located in Medford, NY looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Construction Estimator.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand residential construction blueprints.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for new home construction.
• Request and review subcontractor bids.
• Assist with preparing construction proposals.
• Order construction materials and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain organized project estimates an documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn residential construction estimating.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Construction knowledge is a plus but not required.
