CONCRETE SHELL LAYOUT FIELD ENGINEEER

The Concrete Shell Layout Field Engineer supports commercial building projects through precise site layout, surveying coordination, and concrete construction verification. Reporting to the Project Manager and General Superintendent, this role works continuously throughout each shift with concrete crews and subcontractors, using robotic total stations to maintain accurate layout, elevations, anchor placement, and formwork alignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform site layout for concrete shell construction.
• Coordinate surveying activities and field measurements.
• Verify concrete placement and construction conditions.
• Lay out and verify anchor placement.
• Check formwork alignment and elevations.
• Interpret construction drawings in the field.
• Maintain elevation control using robotic total stations.
• Coordinate continuously with concrete crews and subcontractors throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in concrete shell layout engineering.
• Experience working with Leica robotic total stations is a plus.
