Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Civil Superintendent to oversee heavy civil construction activities for a large-scale data center project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This individual will be responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely and according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong heavy civil construction background and previous experience with ground-up commercial projects involving data centers, airports, or hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily heavy civil construction operations and field activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor project schedules, productivity, and construction progress.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce jobsite safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate with project management, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep the project on schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong heavy civil construction experience is required.
• Ground-up commercial construction experience on data centers, airports, or hospitals is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field crews, subcontractors, and daily site operations.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, safety procedures, and quality control.
• Ability to travel and work on-site in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary of $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience.
