Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM

Job Description

Customer Driven Staffing is hiring General Laborers for a recycling facility in Allapattah, Miami. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with daily recycling operations, material sorting, facility cleanup, and traffic direction.

This is a hands-on, physically active position ideal for candidates who enjoy working in an industrial environment and can follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shredder picker operations and material processing.
• Sort recyclable materials and select designated pieces for placement into recycling baskets.
• Perform general cleanup to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Direct traffic and help maintain safe vehicle movement throughout the facility.
• Follow supervisor instructions and established workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the work shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as required.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work early mornings.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work as part of a team.
• Previous general labor, warehouse, construction, or recycling experience is preferred but not required.
• Steel-toe shoes are required. Employees must also wear sole protectors as required by the facility.

Schedule and Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $15.00 per hour.
• Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday.
• Shift: 5:00 AM–1:00 PM.
• Expected Schedule: 48 scheduled hours per week, subject to operational needs.
• Overtime: Applicable overtime pay will be provided in accordance with federal and state law.

Safety Equipment and Facility Amenities

Customer Driven Staffing will provide the following personal protective equipment (PPE):

• Safety glasses
• Protective gloves
• Hard hat
• Earplugs
• Face mask

Employees must provide their own steel-toe shoes and sole protectors.

The facility also provides drinking water and electrolyte beverages to help employees stay hydrated throughout their shifts.

All employees must wear the required PPE and follow the facility's safety procedures and supervisor instructions at all times.

Work Environment

This position is based at a recycling facility and may involve outdoor work, exposure to noise and dust, moving vehicles, and industrial equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment while following all applicable safety requirements.
