Certified Nurse Assistant CNA

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in a skilled nursing facility under the direction of the nurse manager. This role serves older adults, rehabilitation patients, and individuals with chronic conditions by providing compassionate assistance with daily care, mobility, safety, and comfort while documenting services through electronic health record charting.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend

Shift: mostly evening shifts (1:45 p.m.–10:15 p.m.) with a possibility of occasional day shifts (5:45 a.m.–2:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care and activities of daily living.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Support safe patient mobility and transfers.
• Provide hygiene and meal assistance.
• Monitor patient safety and respond promptly to call lights.
• Prepare and maintain patient rooms.
• Complete accurate electronic health record documentation.
• Collaborate with the nurse manager and care team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of nursing assistance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of activities of daily living support and vital signs monitoring.
• Knowledge of patient mobility techniques and infection control.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Understanding of patient safety practices.
• Empathy, communication, and teamwork skills.
