CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care in a skilled nursing facility serving older adults and seniors, including patients receiving short-term rehabilitation. Reporting directly to the Charge Nurse, the CNA will support daily care needs, promote patient safety and comfort, and document care using PCC PointClickCare. Gait belt required. Flexible shifts are available; see below.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with mobility and safe patient handling.
• Support hygiene, feeding, and toileting needs.
• Monitor patients and promptly communicate changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Document care accurately in PCC PointClickCare.
• Prepare and maintain patient rooms.

Required Qualifications

• At least six months of nursing assistance care experience.
• Current state CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of TB testing and a physical examination.
• Knowledge of activities of daily living assistance, patient safety, and safe patient handling.
• Proficiency with electronic health records.
• Demonstrated empathy, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
