Pipe Layers – Plant Wansley | Carrollton, GA

NCW is hiring 5 Pipe Layers for a 10-month construction project at Plant Wansley in Carrollton, GA. Candidates must have experience in pipe erection and working with at least one of the following piping materials: HDPE, carbon steel, or PCCP.

Job Type: Long-Term Project
Hourly Rate: $32/hour
Per Diem: $500/week
Expected Hours: 58 hours per week — five 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift
Start Date: ASAP, pending orientation
Duration: Approximately 10 months

Required Skills:

• Experience in pipe erection
• Experience working with at least one of the following:
• • HDPE
  • Carbon steel
  • PCCP (prestressed concrete cylinder pipe)
• Ability to follow project specifications and jobsite safety procedures

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with pipe erection and installation
• Handle and position piping materials as required
• Support piping installation according to project specifications
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous pipe erection experience required
• Must have experience with at least one specified piping material: HDPE, carbon steel, or PCCP
