Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a telemetry unit using primary and team nursing models
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• Ability to read and interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips prior to arriving at the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
• Familiarity with both primary and team nursing care delivery models
