Position: Nurse Manager (Days)
Location: Brattleboro, VT
Facility: Brattleboro Retreat
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 Hours Guaranteed)

Pay: $3,307 Weekly Gross
($51/hour on W2 + $1,267 Non-Taxable Stipend)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical, operational, and strategic leadership for the Adolescent Inpatient Unit.
• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment for adolescent patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and hospital leadership to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and quality initiatives.
• Participate in staff development, performance improvement, and patient safety programs.

Requirements:

• Active Vermont RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a hospital or inpatient healthcare setting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with adolescents in a mental health, behavioral health, or related healthcare environment.
• Strong staff supervision and leadership experience.
• BLS Certification (AHA).

Highly Preferred:

• Leadership experience in adolescent psychiatric or behavioral health programs.
• BSN or MSN.
• Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification.
