Job Title: Senior Inventory Specialist

Location: Whitsett, NC 27377
Pay Rate: $36–$38/hour on W2
Duration: 12-month contract (potential for permanent hire)
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Specialist to oversee warehouse receiving, inventory control, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations. Responsibilities include managing inbound/outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting cycle counts and audits, resolving discrepancies, preparing reports, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers, purchasing, and manufacturing teams while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of warehouse receiving and inventory control experience.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Forklift certification and strong inventory management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of KPIs, quality audits, OSHA compliance, and continuous improvement processes.
• Electronics manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics operations.
