Medical-Surgical RN - Full-Time Nights | Rotating Weekends

Position Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a medical-surgical setting. The RN will assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor treatment progress, and educate patients and families. Candidates must have acute care experience; recent LTAC experience alone does not meet the requirement. An onsite interview is required.

Location: Hudson, FL

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Night shift only, rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and review medical records, test results, and examination findings.
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatments, and care instructions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or appropriate compact license. If using a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
• Nursing diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience required; recent LTAC experience alone is not accepted.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Onsite interview required.

Benefits

• Night shift differential: $4.75/hour
• Weekend differential: $3.00/hour
